With Pasanga coming out trumps in the
57th National awards winning in as many
as three categories, none could be happier
than the man who made this all possible.
We are talking about producer Sasikumar
who is beaming with joy as his Pasanga
has won the best film in Tamil. The success
is sweet as he dared to produce a subject
which was considered dull by many producers.
The win becomes even more special with
the two kids in lead roles winning the
Best Child artist award.
Director Pandiraj, who is not new to winning
awards, told that he did expect Pasanga
to win many awards. “The pleasant surprise
is the award which I have got for Best
dialogues. I never expected that,” he
says. Pandiraj, as he has always done,
thanked director Sasikumar for giving
him an opportunity to direct this film.
