Sources in Kollywood report that the
Vijay-starrer Kaavalan, initially touted
to be a Diwali release, will not turn
out to be so. The shooting of Kaavalan
is still in progress with director Siddique
filming shots involving Asin, Vijay’s
lead pair in the film.
Enquiries reveal that there is still
some work to be done and the team feels
that the film may not be ready for Diwali.
Siddique and team are now contemplating
on a December release, probably to cash
in on the Christmas and New Year rush.
It may be recalled that Kaavalan is Vijay’s
51st film, which is a remake of the Malayalam
film Bodyguard.
