Looks like Rahul Gandhi’s
Tamil Nadu visit has evinced as
much interest among politicians
as it had on Vijay’s meeting
with the Congress General Secretary
a while ago in Delhi. Although it
was widely speculated that Vijay
would join the Congress party, no
confirmed news was made available
after the meeting.
Rahul is now touring Tamil Nadu
and is expected to attend a conference
in Coimbatore today addressing his
party members. Congress sources
aver that Vijay will join the party
officially tomorrow in Coimbatore
on the occasion. However, no official
announcement is available from the
Vijay stable as yet in this regard.
