Director Rajiv Menon has taken
a long sabbatical but is now back
into action, sources say. He directed
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Kandukondein
Kandukondein in the year 2000, which
is said have inspired from the Jane
Austen’s novel Sense and Sensibility.
After nine long years, the director
has once again plans to sign up
Aishwarya Rai along with her hubby
Abhishek Bachchan.
Sources close to the director say
that Rajiv this time is inspired
by the Bollywood smash hit flick
Abhiman, which had Amitabh Bachchan
and Jaya Bachchan in the lead. The
director, however, claims that it
will not be a remake but he would
merely draw some inspiration from
it.
