The sudden and untimely death of
the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister
Dr. YS Rajasekara Reddy in a helicopter
crash on September 2nd, 2009 has
put the entire nation in deep anguish.
While the Tamil Nadu state government
had declared a state holiday, the
Kollywood has announced that the
entire Tamil film fraternity would
wear a black badge on Friday to
condole the death of YSR.
This was announced in a joint press
release issued by the Tamil Film
Prodcuers’ Council, Nadigar
Sangam, Film Distributors’
Association, FEFSI, the South Indian
Film Chamber of Commerce, and the
Theatre Owners’ Association.
