Lately, the audio release and promotional
events of movies are devoid of heroines
who are conspicuous with their absence.
It’s widely noted that the
lead ladies of latest movies are
absenting themselves from such events.
Coming down heavily on this, Sivasakthi
Pandiyan warned that such actors,
who fail to attend the promotional
events, would be issued with red
cards by the Producers’ Council
and subsequent sanctions will be
imposed on them. In the recently
held Aadhavan audio release, Nayan
was not present and Namitha and
Meera were not present in the events
of Azhagana Ponnudan and Aadinarayana.
However, the actors, after having
heard of the red card threat, seem
to have spoken to the Nadigar Sangam
Chief Sharathkumar and clarified
on their absence. According to them,
the absence is due to the producers
who neither inform of the events
in advance nor pay for their tickets
to fly down for the same. Sharath,
in turn, promised them to look into
the same and hold discussions with
the Producers’ Council. |
