Vijay backtracks on political dialogues
November 11, 2009

Vijay’s political dialogues in Vettaikaran seem to have troubled Sun Pictures as it was felt that it would affect the business drastically. Sun Pictures reportedly refused to promote the film until the necessary changes were made. Following this, Vijay consented to reshoot the scenes. One of the dialogues, we hear, goes like this: “the people are with me.”

While there were reports that Vijay may find it difficult to allot the much-desired one day call sheet for the re-shoot, the actor decided to make the necessary changes as soon as possible and allotted two days of call sheet, from 10 pm to 2 am. The shooting took place at the AVM studio in Chennai recently.
