Awards from the directors

The Tamil Nadu Directors’ Council has decided to conduct an awards ceremony every year to honor the film stars and technicians of the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industry. The first award distribution ceremony would be held next year. This was decided in a meeting held in Chennai recently.

In an effort to garner funds for the Association, the Council has also decided to conduct a cultural show every April.
