Sigappu Rojakal to be remade by son
November 10, 2009

Ace director Bharathi Raja’s son, Manoj has decided to try his hands on directing a film. He has chosen the smash hit film, Sigappu Rojakal, directed by his father for the purpose.

Sources say that the father and son have set the groundwork rolling and are in the process of recruiting some of the best technicians for the venture. The cast is also yet to be finalized.

However, the music director for the film has been signed up and he is none other than Yuvan Shankar Raja. It is worth a mention here that Yuvan’s father Ilayaraja scored the music for the original version.
