At the recently concluded Ahmedabad
Film Festival, director Sasi has
been honored with the best director
of the year award for his film Poo.
The Directorate of the Festival
sent the director a cash prize of
$1250, a trophy and certificate,
as the director was not available
in person to receive the award.
It is worth mentioning here that
Poo has been screened in several
prestigious national and international
film festivals including the ones
held in Chennai, Kerala, and Delhi.
Poo was screened at the Ahmedabad
International Film Festival and
eventually went on to win the coveted
award during the last day of the
festival.
