Popular Malayalam director, Lohithadas
succumbed to a major cardiac arrest
yesterday (June 28th). Lohithadas
had introduced some of the best
actors and actresses to the tinsel
world including Meera Jasmine, Kalabhavan
Mani, Bama and Manju Variar.
Lohithadas directed a Tamil film
Kasturi Maan, which had Prasanna
and Meera Jasmine in lead roles.
This film went on to win the Tamil
Nadu state award for the best film.
The 54-year-old director will be
buried in his native place Chalakudy
today (June 29th).
Lohithadas started his career as
a screenplay writer and eventually
diversified to direction and production.
