Censor board clears, film to be released in 23 countries
June 10, 2009

Sivappu Mazhai, the film made with an aim to enter the World Book of Guinness Records, has finally been given a clean chit by the Censor Board. A couple of days ago the board had rejected a U certificate to the film due to a few scenes on the Sri Lankan issue.

According to Sivappu Mazhai’s producer and hero, Suresh Joachim, a few scenes have been deleted as per the advice of the censor officials. With the certification process complete, the film will be released soon. Sivappu Mazhai will be released in about 23 countries worldwide. Plans are afoot to include subtitles in 30 languages. Meera Jasmine plays the female lead in Sivappu Mazhai.
