In a recent interview to a Tamil
weekly, Prabhu Deva revealed on
how he agreed to star in Thangar
Bachchan’s Kalavadiya Pozhudhugal.
The actor-choreographer-director
said that he initially was not interested
in the offer and refused to star
in the film. However, when Thangar
insisted on narrating the full story,
Prabhu Deva was drawn to it.
Prabhu said that though he always
prefers happy go lucky roles, as
most of his dance movements also
have some funny steps, he agreed
to the role knowing well the Thangar’s
film does require a lot of emotional
scenes.
