Sameera Reddy will pair up with
Ajith in Asal. While this news was
confirmed by reliable sources, there
were reports flowing in about the
second heroine. Earlier reports
suggest that Mamata Mohandas was
being considered for the role. However,
the actress denied it.
After scouting for a suitable heroine,
the team had decided on Bhavana.
It is worth mentioning here that
Bhavana and Ajith were initially
signed up for Bala’s Naan
Kadavul.
Bhavana is currently busy with a
Telugu film Mahatma directed by
Krishna Vamsi and a Malayalam film
Robinhood. She has also been signed
up to play the female lead in the
Kamal directed venture opposite
