Ajesh emerged as the winner of
the season finale of Vijay TV’s
Airtel Super Singer 2008 that was
held yesterday, June 3, 2009 at
the YMCA, Royapettah Chennai. Ajesh
was selected as a finalist through
SMS and online voting by viewers
that was conducted over the past
two weeks. The other finalists include
Ravi and Renu. Noted singers Srinivas,
Unnikrishnan and Sujatha judged
the show.
Ajesh will now sing for Yuvan Shankar
Raja in his upcoming film, which
is yet to be finalised. That apart,
Ajesh was also awarded a car worth
Rs. 7 lakhs. The first runner up
Ravi got a home theatre worth Rs.
3 lakhs and the second runner up
Renu, a LCD Television set.
Yuvan was also present during the
finale and watched on as the 3 finalists
sang in front of a live audience.
