Debutant Selvin has replaced Prasanna
in Naikutty, it was revealed recently.
Naikutty’s photo session with
Prasanna took place a few months
ago. However, the film went into
a short hibernation. Enquiries revealed
that the team had been scouting
for another hero to replace Prasanna
and had decided on the newbie.
Naikutty is based on a youngster
who turns against his family. The
reason for his sudden change forms
the crux of the story. According
to our sources, the film is based
in a slum and a set will be erected
in the outskirts of Chennai. Naikutty
is produced by V Durai for Evergreen
Movie International and will be
directed by debutant Sadaji. Nicole,
who had been signed up earlier,
has been retained to play the heroine
in Naikutty.
