Mohanlal was formally inducted
in the army and henceforth he will
be its brand ambassador. On his
conferment of honorary Lt Colonel
Mohanlal said, “It is an amazing
moment. My family is with me in
one of the best moments of my life…
They asked me to be the brand ambassador
of the Territorial Army. So it is
a great honor for me.”
Mohanlal will be associated with
the Territorial Army unit under
the Madras Regiment - Kannur Terriers.
Before enlisting the superstar in
the army, he was given proper training
in military etiquette.
Speaking about Mohanlal being inducted
in the army, the Union Defence Minister
AK Anthony said, “This will
be an inspiration for the younger
generation to join the armed forces.”
