The Tamil Nadu and Chennai Theatre
Owners Associations were shocked
when they found out that some theatre
owners had petitioned the Tamil
Nadu government to allow them operate
a bar in the theatre premises. The
Theatre Owners Association made
it clear that no decision regarding
bar facilities in theatres were
made at the general body meeting.
The theatre owners have requested
the chief minister M Karunanidhi
and DCM Stalin not to consider the
request because it would deter the
family audience from visiting the
theatres. |
