Madarasapattinam and Mysorepattinam
July 08, 2009

It is a well known fact that the Arya starrer Madarasapattinam is a period film set in the year 1940. Though this is the year where the Indian Independence struggle was at its peak, the move is love based.

The set for the period movie was erected in Chennai and now the team has shifted to Mysore.

The director, ‘Kreedom’ Vijay has chosen Mysore because of its pre-independence guise. The old city will be best suited for the film feels the director. Shooting will take place on the sets as well as places in and around Mysore.
