The
singers introduced to the filmdom by Oscar winner
AR Rahman will conduct a special show for their
mentor. The funds collected through this show
will be utilized for the A.R. Rahman Foundation,
an organization that helps children affected
by autism and dyslexia.
Noted singers SP Balasubramaniam and Hariharan
will be the guests of honor for this event.
Singer Benny Dayal, Swetha, Srinivas, Suresh
Peters, Naresh Iyer, Sujatha, and a host of
other singers will participate in this grand
show. This event, which will be called ‘Rahamania’,
will take place on February 28th, 2010.
According to the press release, “All
the original track singers of Rahman will
assemble on a single stage to pay tribute
to him, under the musical event, Rahamania.”
