The
Jaganmohini unit, which had been
camping in the Ramoji Film City
a few days earlier, was in for a
surprise when Kamal Haasan visited
them. It may be recalled that the
remake of Jaganmohini, with Namitha
in the title role, is being directed
by N.K. Viswanathan.
While the unit was in the Ramoji
Film City shooting the film, Kamal
Haasan also happened to be in adjoining
sets where he was canning Unnai
Pol Oruvan. When Kamal knew that
Jaganmohini’s shooting was
progressing close by, he decided
to drop in. The actor’s sudden
visit had the director N.K. Viswanathan,
producer Murali, Namitha and the
entire unit spellbound. Kamal returned
to his sets after the brief visit.
