Actor and filmmaker of yesteryears Feroz Khan succumbed to cancer in Bangalore. He was 70. He was suffering from cancer for almost a year until he breathed his last today.

A veteran producer and director, he has also acted in number of Bollywood films. Some of the movies needs a mention here, Qurbani (1980), Janbaaz (1986), Dayavan (1988) a remake of Tamil film Nayagan.

He is survived by his son Fardeen Khan and daughter Laila. Fardeen Khan’s acting career was kick-started by his father in 1998 with the film Prem Aggan. His daughter is married to Rohit Raipal Indian Tennis player.
