The
director of Kutty, Jawahar said
that he and Dhanush liked the Telugu
film Arya so much that they decided
on its Tamil remake instantaneously.
Arya was a smash hit in Telugu and
the duo expects the magic to rub
off in Tamil too. Dhanush, for the
first time, will be seen as a college
student in this film. Moreover,
this out-and-out romantic flick
will not have action sequences at
all.
Jawahar says that Dhanush’s
new facet will be evident in Kutty.
He added that being a romantic film,
Dhanush could be a strong contender
to titles like Kadhal Mannan.
Speaking of Shriya Saran’s
performance, Jawahar said that her
glamour quotient has been lessened
and she has more room for showing
