Actor-producer in critical condition

K. Balaji, well known for starring in films like Vasantha Maligai, Enga Mama, Padithal Mattum Podhuma and producing several other ventures, is in a critical condition. He has been admitted to the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. Balaji has been suffering from kidney ailment over the last several years and has been undergoing dialysis regularly. His condition deteriorated yesterday and he was immediately rushed to the nursing home.

Doctors attending on Balaji say that his health condition remains critical and they are offering him the best possible treatment. Balaji is currently admitted at the Intensive Care Unit.
