The Peraanmai unit had a very distinguished
visitor on the sets today, Mayilsaamy
Annadurai, the chairman of the prestigious
Chandrayan mission of ISRO. He had been
invited by director S.P. Jananathan
to have a look at their set resembling
a rocket launching station that was
erected for the movie. He was given
a warm reception at the set by the director,
Jayam Ravi, art director V. Selvakumar
who was the man behind the set, and
the other cast and crew. The scientist
was greatly impressed by what he saw
and said that the set almost resembled
a real launching pad. He was also seen
giving some tips to the crew about the
finer aspects of a station. He spent
some time watching the canning of a
few shots before taking leave of the
Peraanmai team.
With this news coming in, the mystery
around Peraanmai has deepened with earlier
information of quite a few scenes having
been shot in dense jungles. Now, it
is tough to correlate jungles, action
scenes and rocket launching stations,
with five heroines thrown in. Looks
like Peraanmai will be something to
watch out for. |
