Kamal’s welfare schemes

The new members of the Kamal Haasan Fans’ Welfare Association took charge on 19th April, 2009. During this event, which was held at the Sivagami Pethatchi Hall in Mylapore, the Fans’ Club also distributed various aids to the deserving people. Kamal Haasan also distributed the certificates to all the newly appointed administrators of the association.

Among the beneficiaries were a mother-child hostel in Dharamapuri, which received cradles, wheel chairs

of the use of handicapped people in bus stops, and Rs. 5000 for a women’s club. The Adi Dravidar students at the Chrompet Government School were also given school uniforms, 500 steel plates, 10 cupboards and electric fans. The fans’ association members from several districts across the state were present during the event.
