Tamil film honored in NY

Mudhal Mudhal Mudhal Varai, a Tamil feature film, was awarded the Best Drama Feature in the Best Feature film (International) at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. The film, which is about the travails of a young director looking to make his debut in the film industry, was directed by Krishnan Seshadri Gomatam.

It is worth mentioning here that M3V was well received in the International Film Festival of India, which was held in Goa in 2008. The film had CP Satyajit, Anuja Iyer, E Kumaravel and Charan in prominent roles and also featured many debutants.

Thotta Tharani took care of the art department and cinematography was by Fowzia Fathima. Ace editor B Lenin edited the film and music was scored by Aslam Mustafa.
