Akshay Kumar who was in the ‘unbutton’ controversy recently was seen cheering for the Delhi Daredevils last Sunday. Despite being a good friend of Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty who are co-owners of Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals respectively, he earlier refused to be part of the IPL event.

Akshay said that it was not planned as he was not associated with the IPL event either professionally or financially, but added that he was there to cheer for Delhi Daredevils. Since Preity Zinta was there he had caught up with her, he stated. Akshay confirmed that he will not attend any of the other IPL matches.

The shooting for Priyadarshan’s ‘Dan Dana Dan’ is on and Akshay is busy with the project in Singapore. Answering in a rhythmic manner he stated, “First it was Preity's darshan, now I go for Priyadarshan.”
