Madhavan stalls Naan Aval Adhu

Naan Aval Adhu, the remake of the Hindi film Darling, is in trouble. The film is directed by noted Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma’s assistant Kona Venkat. Gaurav Sharma is producing this venture. Reportedly, a tiff over the pay to film’s hero Madhavan has put this project in deep trouble. According to Maddy, he was paid Rs. 15 lakhs as advance to star in Naan Aval Adhu and the remaining Rs. 60 lakhs was to be paid later.

However, with just 15 days shooting remaining, the producer has asked him to go in for a pay cut. He has also approached the Producers’ Council in this regard. Maddy, on the other hand, is not in a mood to relent and has filed his complaint too. The council members are working on a solution.
