Trisha takes a pay cut

The reigning queen of Tamil and Telugu cinema industry, Trisha is all set to make her presence felt in Mollywood. This is in fact Trisha’s first Malayalam venture wherein the actress will star opposite the Malayalam star Dileep.

Apparently, Trisha had reduced her pay packet to star in this venture. Grapevine has it that Trisha was thrilled on hearing the story and decided on a lesser pay though she has quite a lot of Tamil and Telugu

films in her kitty. While actresses from the Malayalam film industry have been reigning in Kollywood and Tollywood, Trisha could just do that in the Malayalam film industry with her new assignment!
