Who’s
the winner of Diwali advance bookings?
– A report |
|
Varalaru
the Ajith starrer which was earlier
called as Godfather appears to be
the leader of advance bookings among
Diwali releases. Bookings are full
till Tuesday in many theatres. Though
Vallavan is countering Varalaru, Vallavan’s
advance booking is yet to commence
in some screens. A general report
in the leading theatres of city. Remember
mere advance booking trend alone may
not decide the fate of the movie.

Sathyam Cinemas
At Sathyam, theatre staff Suresh
felt that Varalaru
is sure to cause a ripple as
this film is released after
a long break and is certain
to be a treat to Ajith’s
fans.
Vallavan is
seeing the silver screen after
too many hurdles. The last minute
tension is allegedly a ploy
created by Simbu to hike the
curiosity to combat Varalaru.
Finally the tension was eased
and Vallavan is ready to make
a mark. |

Managing Director Mr Udeep confirmed
that Varalaru has been booked
for consecutive days for all
shows. Vattaram and Vathiyar
are not having good takers.
Perhaps they would speed up
in course of time. The counter
booking clerk Mr Ansari said
that it is difficult to predict,
considering the moods and tastes
of fans. He feels that Varalaru
would march ahead of others.

According to theatre Manager
Durai, Vattaram and Vathiyar
are films to be watched though

would outclass others in terms
of photography, quality, editing
and songs. Naturally, Vallavan
is doing well and is booked
up to Tuesday night and Vattaram
and Vathiyar are booked upto
Sunday night.
