When everybody who is anybody in the tinsel town had no qualms in expressing their desire to pair with Superstar Rajnikanth in Sivaji, Aishwarya simply did not yield in. Shankar in fact expected only minimum days for her call sheet but even that did not help her change her mind. When she had time for Mani’s Guru and to endorse Nakshatra products and other such media events, it is puzzling why she did not want to be featured with Rajnikanth. In this manner she has been losing out a lot of good films.

The latest grapevine has that Aishwarya has not been accepting any offers these days rejecting them on various flimsy grounds. The tactics that Aishwarya follows to refuse a proposition sounds very interesting. If she has been asked to feature as a heroine for a leading star whose recent film bombed at the box office, she cites this reason to reject it. According to her if she is paired with a flop star, then her image is sure to go south. If this trick is not fruitful, then she raises her rates to an astronomical height that no one in their right senses would even dare to come near her with a business proposition.

Recently, an offer to act with the legendary Amir Khan was declined by her mentioning the reason as failure of Mangal Pandey. She sure has a volatile memory where she has easily forgotten about his ‘Rang de Basanti’. Later, with another proposal, she instantly drove people away when she had charged a whopping 1 crore for a film with a leading film maker in Bollywood. Industry sources say that this is basically to dissuade people from casting her in their films. The real reason for such unwise moves is not quite clear of course.
