A batch of students belonging to the CBSE stream has reportedly challenged the Tamil Nadu government’s policy of 85% reservation of MBBS/BDS seats for state board students. The state had earlier issued an order reserving 85% of available MBBS/BDS seats for state board students who had cleared NEET. The state stated that the state board students are disadvantaged since NEET questions mostly came from CBSE syllabus.
