The Economic Times on Wednesday reported that the Reserve Bank of India has ordered for the printing of Rs 200 notes, citing people familiar with the issue. The report further said the printing is taking place in government-owned facilities. While the RBI has not made any official statement or issued a notification in this regard, the introduction of Rs 200 notes is expected to make transactions easier.
