Boy scores 1,190 out of 1,200 marks, no medical admission due to low NEET score

According to reports, A school boy from Thirumanur village of Salem district has missed out the opportunity to join MBBS course due to NEET medical test. Tamilarasan, son of grocery shop owner Velmurugan, has scored 1,190 out of 1,200 marks in the class 12 State Board exams, with a cut off mark of 198.75, says a report by News 18 Tamil Nadu. However, he was able to score only 235 marks in NEET medical exam, due to which, he was not able to join the MBBS course he is aspiring to study.
