According to reports, people from more than 70 villages on Saturday have begun their protest against the hydrocarbon project near Thadikonda Ayyanar Koil ground in Pudukkottai district. The development comes after the Madurai bench of Madras High Court on Friday reportedly granted permission to hold a demonstration against the project.
