NCW seeks Haasan's apology for naming actress

In the controversy over Kamal Haasan publicly naming a sexual assault victim, National Commission for Women chairperson Lalitha Kumaramangalam on Friday reportedly demanded an apology from the actor. Haasan, during a press conference recently, publicly identified a Malayalam actress who was abducted and sexually assaulted in a moving car in Kerala. Meanwhile, in Chennai, the actor reportedly said he was ready to apologise but “U r penalising the lawyer & missing criminals.”
