TN minister threatens tax audit against Kamal Haasan

Condemning actor Kamal Haasan’s corruption charges against the state government, Tamil Nadu minister for municipal administration S P Velumani on Saturday reportedly threatened to conduct an audit to check if the actor properly paid taxes for his films. The minister also reportedly said that Haasan should prove his charges. Notably, the Tamil superstar on Wednesday reportedly said no government department was free from corruption.
