Indian Army to get 'attack helicopters'

The Defence Acquisition Council chaired by Defence Minister Arun Jaitley has reportedly given its assent to provide 'attack helicopters' to the Indian Army. Notably, the request for helicopters has been a long-standing request from the Indian Army. According to reports, the Indian Army is likely to get eleven Apache multi-role attack helicopters from the US.
