US stirring up ‘Iranophobia’ to boost arms sales to Arab nations: Tehran

Iran has reportedly accused the US of stirring up “Iranophobia” to boost American arms sales in the Middle East. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi reportedly said, “Once again, by his repetitive and baseless claims about Iran, the American president... tried to encourage the countries of the [Middle East] region to purchase more arms by spreading Iranophobia.” This comes after the US sealed a massive arms deal with Saudi Arabia, worth $100 million.
