A study by the Centre for Disease Dynamics, Economics and Policy has revealed that India is home to 25% of world’s tuberculosis (TB) patients. The report also states that the disease is estimated to kill 4,80,000 Indians every year. Noticeably, India has devised a plan to eliminate TB by 2025.
