Tamil Nadu municipal administration minister S P Velumani on Wednesday announced that a new bridge will be built at Elephant Gate in Central Chennai. The bridge will be reportedly constructed on a 50:50 share of funding between the Railways and Chennai Corporation. The bridge is expected to reduce the inconvenience suffered by the motorists in the area.
