France: 8 wounded in mosque shooting

According to reports, eight people including a girl suffered light wounds on Sunday after at least two men got out of a car and opened fire in front of a mosque in France. The incident took place in the south-east city of Avignon. The prosecutor's office ruled out terrorism saying, “The fact that it happened in the street of the religious establishment was unconnected with it.” None of the wounded had life-threatening injuries, the prosecutor’s office reportedly said.
