According to reports, a woman in Rajasthan named her newborn son as GST, after he was born on June 30 midnight while the new tax structure was being launched. Meanwhile, the state’ CM Vasundhara Raje congratulated the woman, tweeting, "Live long & healthy Baby GST!" Notably, PM Modi had rolled out the Goods and Services Tax in a special midnight session of Parliament the very same day.
