Sheik Alavudeen, a differently-abled man, was charred to death in Thiruvarur on Monday. According to reports, Alavudeen was burnt for questioning a duo for drinking in a public place. Notably, Alavudeen was taken to a Thiruvarur hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The residents in the area caught the duo and handed them to the police.
