Eight AIADMK MLAs led by three former ministers reportedly demanded Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami to call for a meeting of party MLAs, in order to ensure transparency within the party. Former Ministers like Thoppu Venkatachalam, V Senthil Balaji and P Palaniappan met CM Palaniswami in the secretariat and held discussions for 45 minutes.
