Things have not been going good for Maddy. Priyasakhi, a movie that he thought would bail him out, has flopped. The guy has now promptly reduced his rate to 75 lakhs from one crore. Desperate for a hit, he has signed up Balasekaran's Arya. Balasekaran is the guy who gave movies like Love Today and Thulli Thirindha Kaalam.

75 lakhs may be less but Maddy definitely has some consolation work to be done. He has two heroines against him– Madhumita and Bavana. Let's wait and see whether Maddy pulls out a fast one this time. His next expected release is Thambi, directed by Seeman.
