The shooting of Sivaji took off at Ramoji film city, Hyderabad, with the picturisation of Rajini-Sreya song. For eight days the shooting continued. Those on the sets were amazed by the agility with which the superstar gigged with Sreya. At 56, the verve seemed impossible.

At the end of the day it was Sreya who returned tired. In Hyderabad, normally, the film fraternity does not gather much on the day of shooting. However, it was an exception with the superstar’s flick. Everyone who was someone – producers, distributors, financiers, exhibitors – was there for the muhurat shot.
