Nayantara
defends her item number in Sivakasi |

In
the just released Sivakasi,
leading star Nayantara has played herself
and performed in one song. When asked about
her decision to do the role, when she was
already a popular heroine, |

she said that Vijay
had requested her and so she had agreed.
Besides, she played herself and appeared
as the star campaigner for Vijay
who contests an election as per the movie.
Since, her character was not incongruous,
there was nothing wrong in doing the dance
number. Due to pressing commitments, she
had not been able to act opposite Ajith
and Kamal.
She is presently working in E
paired with Jeeva. |
