There
has been a big hoopla about the reported
troubles that S.J. Suryah had with
the censors over his film, A.Ah and
the earlier New. There were also legal
steps taken to restrain him. |

Amidst
all this, we have the news that Thankar’s
recent film, Chidambarathil
oru appasamy was
vetted by the Board and okayed without
a single cut. It is a beautiful film
about a man’s transformation.
Wonder, whether there will be more
filmmakers in Thankar’s mould. |
